GO Travel Show grows & adds some special extras!
This year’s GO Travel Show is taking another step forward with expansion to accommodate dozens more exhibitors, following a complete sellout by Christmas of the existing space.
More exciting elements been added to the mix that travel organisers, industry suppliers and buyers will enjoy at the expanded GO Travel Show taking place again this year at Kempton Park, Surrey on Wednesday 22nd April.
As well as the 150+ exhibitors now expected to be there for you to meet and give you travel inspiration and fresh ideas for the months ahead (119 are already signed up), there will be a number of special features offering hands-on experiences.
“We’ve been overwhelmed with interest in exhibiting, and have taken the exciting step of opening up the second floor of the grandstand at Kempton Park to house another fifty stands.
“Both floors will now be equally packed with attractions, destinations, tour and travel providers, accommodation and other organisations offering ideas and options for those organising group travel or seeking new partners for their tourism and leisure businesses.”Darryl Murdoch – Show Organiser
Exciting activities & entertainment for visitors
More innovative elements have been added to the mix that group organisers will enjoy at the expanded show.
There will be three major activity feature areas both inside and outside the exhibition halls. These will include a programme of hands-on Elizabethan dressing demonstrations, in which visitors can take part alongside workshops and catwalk photo opportunities courtesy of London’s Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.
An original ‘Stately Home Escape Room’ taster experience where you can have a go at figuring your way out of a locked heritage property put together by specialist travel experience creator Catherine Skeggs.
And an outdoor ‘country pursuits’ demo area including the chance to sample archery and clay pigeon shooting as an introduction to events that groups can enjoy.
Other themed elements will include a number of World War Two characters including a Home Guard unit to link up with this year’s 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain and 75th anniversary of VE Day. Further special feature elements will also be part of many of the exhibitor stands.
“We have a reputation to maintain as the most enjoyable travel show to visit in the country – and this year we will have more interactive experiences than ever.”Darryl Murdoch – Show Organiser
