Alongside the Show, visitors will be able to join a number of Fam Visits.
Enjoy an exclusive visit to RHS Wisley
After enjoying the GO Travel Show, GTOs can also register for a special visit to RHS Garden Wisley, which is just 25 minutes away.
Be amongst the first to see the new welcome centre that will be opening in spring 2019 at the historic home of the RHS. There you will receive a special welcome and a drink, and up to two hours to explore the gardens.
We are also finalising a longer Fam Trip for the day before the show to explore a number of attractions in the area and an overnight stay.
More details will be announced soon.
Jockey Club VIP Box
Take a taste of the Jockey Club VIP Box
Show host Kempton Park Racecourse is part of The Jockey Club, the largest commercial organisation in British horseracing which has 15 Racecourses throughout the UK including Cheltenham, Aintree, Newmarket and Epsom Downs.
The Jockey Club Groups team will be on hand during the show to help with all aspects of planning a Day at the Races, including group discounts and how to upgrade packages by including lunch with a Racecourse View or a Behind the Scenes Tour. Visit the team on Stand No 4 for specialist advice for taking your group Racing!
During the show, GTOs will be able to sample the VIP Box Experience by joining the Jockey Club in the comfort of a private box to admire the stunning Racecourses Views. Here you will enjoy an introduction to Horse Racing from a Racing expert and learn about the history of Kempton Park Racecourse. Complimentary tea or coffee will be served.
There will be three sessions – at 11.00am, 12.30pm and 2.00pm – and as numbers are limited GTOs should apply in advance. A maximum of two GTOs from each organisation can apply and if over subscribed a draw will take place.
Applicant’s contact details will be forwarded to the Jockey Club so that they can arrange the experience.
Swinging 60's Music Experience
Take a ride to the ’60s
London’s Swinging 60s Music Experience Routemaster bus will be taking centre stage at the GO Travel Show.
There will be two fam trips departing from Kempton Park and travelling to Richmond and back to allow GTOs to sample this entertaining experience, which involves enjoying the music while taking a nostalgic trip back in time to the 1960s. The tours are planned for 11.00am and 2.00pm.
The Musical Heritage London team will also give a 40-minute presentation to explain more about the unique and immersive nature of the bus tours and how music legends often come on board the buses to surprise passengers! Amongst those who have made appearances recently are Kenney Jones from The Small Faces and The Who, Mick Avory from the Kinks, Brian Bennett and Bruce Welch from The Shadows and Steve Hackett from Genesis.
