Landor Travel Publications is delighted to announce that Darryl Murdoch, formerly with Metropolis
International and the Great for Groups brand, has joined the Landor Group as Senior Commercial Manager and will take the lead on the 2018 GO Travel Show, which is to be held at Kempton Park Racecourse on Tuesday 17th April.
‘We are delighted to have Darryl on board and to be taking forward the excellent work he did with Great for Groups, alongside the position we have established for the Go Travel Show since it began in 2016 at London’s QE2 Olympic Park’ said LTP Chairman, Peter Stonham.
‘Darryl’s availability, and the withdrawal from the market of the Great for Groups business, has provided us with a brilliant opportunity to build something really special’, Peter continued. The association of GTO Magazine, Darryl’s experience and contacts, and the GO Travel Show’s innovative mission, are an unrivalled combination.’
‘I’m excited at this development, and the potential it provides for me and the industry to really take forward our offer to the group travel audience in 2018’, said Darryl. ‘I’m looking forward to reconnecting with all the destinations, attractions, and suppliers who I was working with at the previous shows, and to delivering an amazing event at Kempton Park with Peter and the GTO team’.
